“Drive slow, save a life”

I drive slow. It’s a practice in patience. Anyone can drive fast, although not everyone should drive fast. Not everyone can drive slowly, however. A frustration builds up; an irritation like an itch. It’s all the worse because it’s an itch you can easily scratch. “Why don’t I just go faster?” you ask. But life doesn’t always let you go fast. It’s for those times that the reserve of patience driving slowly fills you with equips you.

Not to mention the better fuel economy and engine longevity associated with slow speed and acceleration (up to 20% better fuel economy on the highway by driving slower – just how slow wasn’t specified in the article I got that from), the real reason I drive slowly is a mental one.
