Surprisingly good movie. Nicolas Cage is one-of-a-kind - can't imagine anyone else in the role but him.

Not as uppitty as I thought it would be - that's what the commercials made it seem like. But it was refreshing to see something other than the typical romance movie. It was mature and thought-provoking.

Leave it to Clint Eastwood to make a superb film that depicts important social issues, tells an important story based on actual events, and entertains throughout. Morgan Freeman was brilliant, probably his best role ever. Matt Damon fit the role perfectly but unfortunately it didn't call for much from him, range wise.

The wedding was really unique, from the Indian sarees and wedding cake to the African music and Brazilian dancing. The movie was slow at times, and the moments of just music and dancing a bit long at times, but overall it was effective and even moving.

Excellent film. Owen Wilson's looking better and better as he gets older - not physically, I mean in terms of the roles he plays. The dog was adorable, and I genuinely felt touched when he died at the end.

The movie was a bit slow and long-ish. Sean Penn was great. I thought he was over-acting, perhaps acting a bit too retarted, but when they showed the real Harvey Milk in the end credits, it looked like Penn nailed his demeanor spot on.

Really good movie. Irfan Khan is brilliant, better than in The Namesake. Shah Rukh Khan plays a likable character, and plays it well, as usual. Om Puri is hilarious, along with Rajpal Yadav and Asrani.
